Complicated schemes are there to involve West Asian countries in civil wars, Qalibaf said, adding that Washington and its allied forces in the region wanted to provoke division among regional states to impede economic cooperation and establishment of sustainable peace.
He referred to the explosions in Shia mosques in Afghanistan, efforts to involve the country in a civil war, armed and illegal chaos in Lebanon, creating division in Iraq, and the provocative false statements made by some regional leaders in the past week as incidents that make the conspiracy even more evident.
Qalibaf noted that the Islamic Republic of Iran wants peace and security for the region and recognizes the people’s will as the final word that neutralizes conspiracy in any country.
The Speaker condemned any action that violates the security of the region and urged all countries to work in line with sustainable peace and stability and growing intraregional economic ties.
He also called on Iran’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs to reflect and pursue Iran’s wise stances.A
