Abdul Salam Karimi appointed as Iran president advisor for ethnic, religious minorities

According to president.ir, Mamosta Abdul Salam Karimi was born in 1967 and is a son of a martyr of Iraqi imposed war on Iran (1980-1988) during Saddam Hussain's reign. He is a PhD-holder in Arabic language and literature and has also Islamic certification of Ijtihad (independent reasoning or the thorough exertion of a jurist's mental faculty in finding a solution to a legal question).

Governor of Divandarreh for 5 years, President of Payam-e-Noor of Marivan and Sanandaj University for 5 years, Deputy of Planning and Human Resources of Kurdistan Education Organisation for 5 years, and a number of other responsibilities are amongst his executive and managerial backgrounds.

He has had several executive and managerial posts during his years of service in different entities of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

In his decree, President Raisi expressed hope that the Almighty God would help Karimi to pursue issues related to ethnicities and minorities, and to create and enhance unity among followers of different religions and ethnicities based on regulations of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

The President also underlined that justice-seeking, revolutionary spirit, proper public relations, fight against corruption, and commitment to law are among the qualifications of good officials.

Raisi wished for Karimi's success in his new post to serve the Iranian minorities based on ideals of the Islamic System, as well as the statement of the second phase of the Islamic Revolution.
