The director general of lslamic culture and guidance department in Hamedan province announced that 400 actors and actresses presented their artistic performances in the 26th international theater festival for children and youths held in Hamedan. The festival ended with the activities of 52 artistic groups, 3 story narration groups, 9 foreign plays, 8 street performances and 8 urban district artistic shows.
This morning at the closing ceremony of the 26th International Theater Festival for Children and Youths, Mr. Ehsani cited that no power would last forever except art. He also congratulated the Unity Week( celebrating time for the anniversary of Mohammad's birthday) to all audiences and wished the happy times for culture loving people of lran and Hamedani citizens in particular.
He mentioned that the opening ceremony of the festival was held at the sidewalks of Bu-Ali Sina Tomb and coincided with the beginning of the Twelfth Imam's Sovereignty. The festival brought out a joyful atmosphere in the city and children and youths enjoyed it greatly.
He appreciated all authorities and agencies for organizing the festival properly. During the 26th festival, people witnessed
the attendance of both domestic and foreign theater groups in the province and the theatrical performances played the role of a developing and fostering factors in the city. Meanwhile two mobile operahouses were inaugurated in Hamedan and the plays were performed in 15 theaters throughout the province. 5 special workshops were active for 10 nights and the director general for dramatic center, Mr. Karami supported the festival financially. Mr. Ghannad was the executive secretary of the festival who took great pains in managing the forerunning affairs.
