The superintendent for the Kurdistan Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts and Tourism Department announced," A principle agreement has been issued to construct the first five-star hotel in Bijar County, a tourism complex in Saqqez and an Eco-Tourism resort in Bisaran, a rural area located in the southwest of Sanandaj city." He maintained that in addition to improving the quality level of delivering optimal services to the tourists, the quantity level would be developed to persuade them to stay in the province for a longer period of time. At the moment, 32 hotels accommodate 2268 guests and provide services to the tourists continuously in the province. Moreover, two hotel-apartments with an accommodation capacity of 100 guests, 24 guesthouses with an accommodation capacity of 782 guests and 17 eco-tourism resorts with an accommodation capacity of 420 passengers are busy to offer their services to the travellers in the province. In fact, to provide the coming tourists with appropriate facilities is one of the most important goals of the tourism section of the department in Kurdistan province. For this purpose, the cultural heritage department is ready to cooperate with the investors of the private sector in all aspects.              Mr. Marivani declared," The project of constructing a five-star hotel in Bijar county is carried out by investing 900 billion rials in a land lot of 18,889 square meters; it may aswell directly create jobs for 60 unemployed people. With regard to the economic conditions and employment issue in the province, the implementation of this kind of project is of a great importance in the province." The superintendent added," We have achieved the principle agreement for the establishment of two other constructions: 1- the erection of a tourism complex in Saqqez county with an investment of 120 billion rials in a lot of 6,775 square meters where about 22 persons can be employed and 2- the building of an eco-tourism resort in the village of Bisaran with an investment of two billion and 450 million rials in a bare lot of 80 square meters where 3 persons may be employed."
