The plane carrying some 30 metric tons of food and powdered milk landed at Aleppo Airport late on Monday.
Iran’s Consul General in Aleppo Salman Navvab Nouri told IRNA that the plane is a third sent by Iran to Aleppo after the earthquakes that affected large parts of Syria and Turkiye last week.
Iran had earlier dispatched two humanitarian planes to Damascus and two others to Latakia, said Navvab Nouri.
More than 36,000 people have been killed and tens of thousands more injured in southern Turkiye and northern Syria as a result of the powerful earthquakes.
